“In 1989 Sang & James Yi ran a small wholesale clothing business in Waikiki Beach, Honolulu. As authentic Made in Hawaii “Aloha Shirts” grew in popularity with visitors from around the world we traded up to a 10,000 sq.ft factory close by. Some 30+ years later we are still in Waikiki Beach making our own garment range in the traditional way – cutting shirt fabric by hand, using handmade cardstock patterns and hand-drawn size markers”
